The 2010 Convention held at the Owyhee Plaza in Downtown Boise was a great success. Thank you to all who attended. The speakers were educational, eye opening and funny.
Friday night brought the IAPA Auctioneer and Bid Spotter Championships. DAA of Idaho hosted the event with a fundraiser for the Boyscouts of America, Ore-Ida Chapter, Troop 62.
Josh Houck took home the award of 2010 Idaho State Champion Auctioneer, Steve Hall won the Rookie Division and Dan Williams is your new Bid Spotter Champion. Congratulations to all the contestants and winners!
Chris Brown was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He has had a huge impact on the careers of many members and provides a great service to his clients. Bobby Hopkins presented him with the award that is so well deserved. Congratulations Chris!
This year the IAPA presented a brand new award. The President's Award. This award is given to the member that shows great committment and enthusiasm to the industry and the Association. Our first recipient is John Spaulding. Congratulations John!
